i’ve read 8 of these! and i hate the way people are playing politics on this ranking.. ruma di, will u believe there are so many greater books written last year, which never find a place here! i mean, those 8 books are great, but at least 5 of them can be replaced by nothing less than 20 other books! they are not that bad on sales figure either! anyway, that’s the way it is… thanQ for ur comment on my space… will try to improve :) thanQ for your inspiration! want to listen to a bengali song from the latest movie Antoheen…? i love it! let me know if u wish me to share it with u! Thanks Ruma for sharing. But I have to confess, I have not read any of the above. Currently I’m hooked up with two all different books. Swamy Vivekananda by Swamy Nikhilananda,And a kannada novel ‘Durgasthamana’ by Tarasu.I live in 80s. I dont feel like reading any Booker acknowledged Indian books. ( After reading a couple of it, I lost interest) Most of them just glorifies the negative aspects of life with out suggesting any solutions.
